My obsession with collecting used items and re-using them has idolized the idea of fashion-recycling (to me it means ways to re-use them and update them), and it helped me understand the value of each style. And those have been breeding in the back of my closet lately. Few years back, my dad gave me one of his denim jackets (<left) which happened to be one of the early jackets that were made in the early 80s when brand GUESS? has launched. The jacket was very exquisite in the cut and the detail, but plain in the style, so I decided to cut the sleeves off for an updated autumn item, pairing them with grey train-sweater worn under the cut offs! I accessorized it with a bounty of pins and badges, and whenever I’m wearing them I like to believe that I'm channeling an 80's Prince, wearing an actual army fatigue-grounded vest. And not until recently, I used the cut-off denim vest for a shoot for the TNG post.
