We're All About the
Uma!
Yep it’s Uma Thurman! Believe it or not hat’s her. Uma Thurman started her career as a fashion model, taking the foot steps of her mother and grand mother for being former fashion models. Now My.Kali.mag Shows original scans off of the real magazine (both) Vogue-s Uma had appeared on. (Left) Uma’s very first cover on British Vogue in December 1985 at the age of 15, doing the dark Christmas shoot, which you can see (Down), However, as a teenager, Uma caught up with the worst life a teenager could face, she was teased over her large frame, towering everyone at class -which made it perfect for modeling for her- having large feet and a long nose, which today only adds a unique touch to her beautiful face, but some how all was part of her misery. Uma was the lanky awkward child you get to see in the school howl. After receiving a standing ovation in elementary theater production, Uma knew it’s what she wanted to pursue for life. And like many actors and models, Uma packed up and moved to New York, she didn't even stick around long to become a high school graduate. However before she became one of Vogue’s sensational models, Uma was forced to work odd jobs including washing dishes and off course modeling a more glamorous job which got her noticed, Rather than taking part in the typical all-American extracurricular activities, Uma Thurman had better things to do: acting! After modeling for few years, landing layouts in Glamour and Vogue, Uma took her very first acting role in the movie “Johnny be good” in 1988, and 3 other movies (Dangerous Liaisons, Kiss Daddy Good Night, and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen) soon as many young actresses like Brooke Shields and others, Uma took few sexual roles such as her topless scene in “Dangerous Liaisons” to gain the attention she wanted, while Michele Pfeiffer and Glenn Close took Oscar nominations for their performances.
