The variety in gay films are on the rise, finding two gay independent films in stores “A single man” directed by fashion designer Tom Ford, and Academy award nomination for Colin Firth for best actor. Also romantic drama movie “I love you Phillip Morris” a love affair between Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. You’ll also find lesbian action movie DEBS very interesting. We also featured this month our Online Special movie “Trick” which you can watch easily on Youtube. The movies we listed to you are actually available here in Jo’s DVD stores, Amman’s downtown DVD shops and in selective DVD shops up town. And not only in city Amman but in other cities like Irbid, Karak and Aqaba, those DVDs could be easily found, So list them down on a paper whenever you’re in town, go to your regular DVD shop and pack them up to watch them in cozy home sweet home!
A drama/romantic comedy movie, adapted from the book by Stephen McCauley. The story concerns a pregnant New York social worker who feels independence as soon as she finds herself single by choice, developing romantic feelings for her gay best friend/roommate who also struggles in his own miss-guided love life. Both find themselves in complications that ensue.

Online Special: A great gay romantic comedy, Trick is a real treat and one of the best in its genre. Trick sees Gabriel, a repressed New Yorker, meeting a sensual go-go dancer by the name of Mark, and follows their night together as they unsuccessfully attempt to hook-up. Witty and heart-warming, this romantic comedy has a subtle but powerful through-line, and features a brilliant comedic performance by actress Tory Spelling.
