Shameless Egression!
"Never liked summer! I was always the kind who would slid inside home, watching Buffy the vampire slayer, drinking something warm, read a book in bed, and wait for summer to end… not the outdoorsy type. Till now, I still think I'm a boring klutz. The lifestyle of summer never appealed to me, the Bob Marely music that was played all around the city, people take the bus to Aqaba for the weekend, coming back with this outspoken radiance, wearing those easy-breezy in their maverick and magpie approaches, not to mention the activities that came with the season…
I grew out of that phase, but remained in the shades, regretting the years of spending way too much time around the pool, and follow the much happening tanning trend of drizzling my body with baby oil and fry out in the sun. Coming back to my parents with sun burns all over, looking way too dark, and peeling for days. I spent my last years in school away from the sun, applying moisturizers with SPF 15s, and would remain inside the buildings for most of the time. I would ask the teachers to let me out to the bathroom, and I would run to apply my sunblock so I'd be prepared by the lunch break when we hit the field. I was extra cautious, due to magazine alerts of the bad rays and how much it could damage my skin. And just like everybody else, would like to remain looking good as long as I can, and no sun should come in the way, but the perfect tan was yet another goal to achieve. >
Born In JO: Exquisite lines are pure delight. Be a pleasure seeker and support a side-striped speedo with a loose striped long sleeved shirt and abundance of gold when grabbing your morning coffee down a chilled Rainbow street. Throw a breezy over-sized blazer, that is ideal for looking polished in the heat. Let off some steam!

-(Side-tracked) Photo shoot update, Ala'a's comment:
“It’s 6 am, wake up” is how I (the person who’s in a loving relationship with his bed) used to wake up for four days by a phone call from Kali to start our shoot. It was my very first experience with Kali, and I was very excited at first to do it; little did I know, I thought it would take a day to two maximum in one location!
We’d start at six, finish around 1pm and sometimes get back afternoon for more pictures because the sun would give a perfect lighting effect then. One of these days, we decided to extend the shoot, and take some shots in Rainbow Street with him wearing a speedo! I thought he was a total whacko because I would never pose nor photograph in the middle of a street in Amman, let alone Jabal Amman! So I had to disagree and step back. And that’s where we decided to take an official license from the RFC (Film Royal Commission) so we (and by that I mean Me) would feel comfortable shooting; and before sun came up, we were in location prepping.
In over seven different locations, many outfits, altered ideas, and over 650 pictures in total, we sat together to pick only 25 of them. It was a very tiring and hectic experience that I really enjoyed doing, but unfortunately won’t be doing soon because of my obligation to my job and university. But I’d definitely do it again if the timing were right!
