Since Jadal started in 2003, gaining popularity
along the way (Salma anyone?), and ending somewhere in late 2010, there has been speculation
of a reunion, and as other sources have confirmed of the continuity of the
band, regardless, members have gone separate ways! Kamel Al-Mani joined the new funk-rock
band KIMA where he’s part guitarist and vocalist, Rami has joined Wissam
Tobeileh in the Youtube show ‘Bath bayakha!; (don’t be thilly!)’, while Mahmoud
Radaideh joined rock-electronica band Kazamada... (Jadal also included drummer Laith Nimri). “I can’t deny the joys of
being in Jadal. It was part of me, part of my life for 7 consisting years, and I can’t not include it in
conversations… as I’m also in the process of putting it all behind me. I’m
moving forward and getting over the Jadal phase,” Rami admits. “But I’m
thankful for Kamel Al-Mani and Mahmoud Radaideh for giving me a push to
establish my own line in composing music and writing lyrics”. Keeping our
eyes peeled, he himself has a stack of projects in the palm of his hand, first
forming a new rock band, on which he was lip-tight and word-selective of reviling
much about the project. Delshad
is resolute about not getting specific and leaving it at anxious.
