Have A Date?
Dating is more like a sweet game, you either play it safe and innocently or you either go far beyond it’s purpose and get lost in the game, leaving you all alone at the end of the road. Many people don’t know how sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. The potential boyfriend, the perfect date and the butterflies in your stomach, all worries you out as you start putting yourself in the field. Acing your first date is important as the SAT’s! With the right preperations,Well, not as much but it does count a lot, especially if you like the guy. So here we go with this jumanji’s game!
Before
Always before a date make sure of:
-brushing your teeth
-your pocket money and wallet
-cell phone; on silent
-tick tacks
-lip balm
Take your bath early in the morning, so you won’t be stressed and pressured by time later. Make sure in the bath you; clean your nails, feet and hands. If you have a special system you work on for your hair, skip it and use only anti-dandruff shampoo, so you won’t have a flakey look, and you’ll appear clean as fresh, and neat. If you don’t, do your routine normally.
Things to do ONE DAY before the date:
-Body scrub, that if you regularly do.
-Facial scrub, cause scrubs usually tend to redden the face up, and you never know if it’ll have any kind of a reaction or red spots when it the time arrives.
-Nail clipping, your hands and feet. So you won’t worry about them during your day date, especially if you have work or school, university…etc
-If you think you need to get a hair cut, well a day before is good enough on short notice, so that you’ll get use to it, and find the perfect look and style with it.
-If you have a cheek facial mini-hair that you usually remove with a string at the Barbra shop, a day before your date is enough to get the red area calm, and clean.
-If you do pluck your eye brows, do it before the next day, cause it may cause red spot, that could last till the end of the day. But if you have to, do it after you take a warm shower, so that way it’ll be easier to pluck the hair, and will calm faster.
-Pick up your outfit. If it’s a warm day always have a hoodie, or a cute sweater with you, in case it gets chilly at night. Pick something classic, “remember black is slimming, classy, classic and it pairs almost with everything”. Have your clothes checked for spots, ironing, smell.
Ps: if you do have a monthly facial, try to avoid having one during the week you’re having a date, or at least 3 days before your date. Facials tend to redden the face, much worse than anything else, from the zits-popping! So you’ll start to glow 3 days after.
1.30 hour before your date:
-Usually its better to watch your favorite comedy show, so it’ll relaxes you, instead of stressing over the time to arrive and pre-date paranoia we all tend to fall in.
-Brush your teeth, not less than one minute, scrub the back, the up row, never forget to also scrub your tongue with the same brush. Brush your front teeth, from up to down, so you won’t hurt your gum, also after finishing, scrub your lips with the same brush, it’s a famous exfoliating system to the lips, getting all the dead skin off, just use an lip balm afterwards or during.
-Some times when we’re under stress, we tend to forget that our “down ward system” is busy or jammed. In other words “don’t forget to hit the toilet!”
-Use 2 dots of your favorite perfume behind your ears, and on your neck and rub it on you wrists. That way you’ll be freshly scented. Not over using perfume is very important so you won’t be hinting with light poking scent!
-Make a fast check up on your pits, if you used a deodorant or not. Your ears: use a Q-tip to clean them up. Your nose if you have a boogie or not. Your shoes and feet if they smell or not. Use baby powder in your shoes so it’ll absorb humidity and a bit on your lower back so you won’t sweat if you got nervous.
Do you wear make-up?
Well, its not a problem, we all have our consciousness about some stuff, it’s totally ok, but you have to be very tricky about it, like using only one item or two, like if you want to wear eye shadow or a mascara, then do not use foundation, and if you want to use a concealer which is the best choice, do not use a heavy blush.
