My Letter,
You know you get to type words in order to serve a letter with a certain purpose, on February, this month of Valentines, holds a special time to express our love in countless ways to countless people you’re not in the sack with! This month we hold two articles toward unusual love situations, one about one sided love and the love that gone black. This issue the “Battlefielded Issue” which resembles the ups and downs of the love track! The un-perfect love, the good/bad image of love that you need to learn about which is important for a realistic image of love, the good standards to base a relationship on, putting all the wrong distractions aside. Also featuring this month Khalid; who talks La la lands, self love and the soaking his Oleanders in milk! Which are featured in Max J.’s article “Love is battle which is lost before it is begun” as a war of the roses themed!
Also during this month, we’re leaking the best movie list on gay related-films to get from the local stores; Titles and mini written trailers that is originally wrote by viewers themselves.
As we try our best to cover the gay articles that are published by the past-on stands glossies, we’ve featured one of the most controversial articles ever been written in Jordan toward being gay and a Muslim in Pulp magazine. This month we’ve featured this to-die for article, and even though we tried to get in contact with the publishers, the magazine had already demolished within last year’s memoires. This issue is stuffed with good articles, from love tips to school-ish skits, it’s an issue to love and wish upon. On the behalf of the My.Kali.mag’s team I’d like to wish you an early cheer for a happy Valentines to you all.
You know you love us
XOXO-Kali

Behind The Curtains!
It was such a gypsy-like shoot, with tracks of Stevie Nicks playing, Khalid and his short pants look and the diary-travel bag! We dealt with a new photographer; “Anas” that improved our out look, style and angle in pictures. Kal felt comfortable around the photo shoot when playing 80s tracks of Stevie Nicks’ albums (Bella Donna, Wild Heart, Rock a little) feeling up the mood while sipping milk before it got used in the Oleanders photos. Noor; the make-up artist did a natural touches to enhance Kal’s gorgeous glow, also stumbling around with the music having small chats with the photographer and participating in the shoot’s ideas. The shoot was simple, no need for more than one outfit, not need for changing the style, the idea was one and went out big! The idea of the retro boy with a red rose in his hands. The look was inflicted by Kal’s style as well which made it easier, natural and comfy for everybody to be himself.
Music Choice...
Songs like “Talk to me, Stand back, Sara” Got Khalid mumbling the words all through out the shoot, which made him more into the look we’re going for… He did this little weird dance between shoots. "Songs like Sara and Bella Donna have deeper meaning when you hear them...they capture the soul and speak to your senses" Kal says. The gypsy boy with a red rose was going exactly with the music, the guitar, the indie-boho rockish style and songs names like Gypsy spoke the words that needed to be spoken. "it's not just about being 80s music, those songs really speak to me, speak to love, to being solo, to the gypsy style... they just makes me dance like i'm in a delie's corner near the juxbox dancing by myself" says Kal...
