Local Stand:
Is He...or isn't he?
Rumors started flooding right out of the sewer with its worst contents when a Jordanian new comer singer who goes with the name “Moody” appeared on the music channels with plastic surgery written allover his facial features! Although he denied the rumors in several tabloids and magazines, but still, you can’t fool the gay eye!
The latest, on the local stands with Nadine magazine, Moody raved about his natural and voted for beauty saying “I’m the prettiest artist without plastic surgery”….No plastic surgery my butt! Those plumped cheeks can speak for themselves. We love to have another star that proceeds with the queer figure over rumors that are surfacing over the image…In this interview he talked about how talent only isn’t enough, that beauty is a factor as well, and how Diana Karazon is just unfortunate! Bitch slapping much! She’s the queen!
Local Stand:
Oh look! It's My Other Twin!
My.Kali-Amman (Up); Is it really an “oops, we did it again” kind of a thing? Or does this magazine (Viva) copy covers so boldly in the open eye, praying that no one reads Vogue?… Well, if it isn’t Victoria B. trying to hard here! Viva magazine, had copied the same cover picture and style of Kate Moss from British Vogue June 2006 for the current Viva February issue of there’s. We can’t deny the achievement they scored with a pic of Kate moss and her pointy nipples in a see-through chiffon dress; (which can be seen on the cover for a closer shot), and maybe that is a liberated point for the Jo scene. Viva magazine is a very successful local glossy magazine in Jo here, but if the magazine keeps screwing it up with copy-pasted covers, it won’t pick up in the rest of the fashionesta’s line of glossies! Good Luck…
Iceland gets first female, and
first openly gay, leader
LONDON: With the swearing-in of its first female prime minister on Sunday, Iceland became the first country to change its government as a direct result of the global financial crisis.
The new prime minister, Johanna Sigurdardottir, 66, will lead a caretaker coalition government of Iceland's Social Democrats and its Left-Green Movement for three months until a new election, expected to be held on April 25. A political veteran who has served for long periods as social affairs minister, she also appears to be the modern world's first openly gay head of government.
The transfer was made in the calm manner long considered characteristic of Iceland, a once-prosperous nation whose reputation for social and political stability has been profoundly shaken by the turbulent scenes that have played out since its leading banks were nationalized last autumn to save them from collapsing beneath multibillion-dollar debts.
