Aren't you cold Eduardo?
It’s been more than a year since Eduardo was featured in My.Kali.mag, remember that open white shirt and the loose tie “Well, it has been a really long time. I can write a book of what happened during that time” the 20 something said. In love and in control, that’s what Eduardo is pulling here with a body of health, he maybe looks cozy on our cover, but here in his room he shirts up a new post sexy pictures gives the chills for a bared skin in a winter of cold to warm up the days, so why isn't he cold? Is he that hot? Well, when entering this year’s Mr. Universe competition, you start to un-doubt. Relocating from Milan, getting loathed in confidence, and here he is talking about his new passion for photography which opened a new path in his life “I finally bought my own photo equipment and started my own photography. It was my dream for a long time and finally I did it.” Says Eddy. And rumor has it, that he’s going to be featured in the photo exhibition “Shooting Right” in Montreal next year.
But with a oh-so busy schedule, traveling and living a fast fashion lived life, Eduardo never fails to be part of his family, showing support and love, he’s always with the family big news: “My sister got married and had a 3-month old baby now and I became a Godfather” He delivers, how cute? He’s a Godfather too. When family matters, love could matter too, spending summer off in Barcelona with his BF, attending gay film festivals and spending the last warm days by the beach. So what else? Get to know him all over again, live his moments and share his love… Why? Because he’s Eduardo!
What’s your favorite autumn habits? What do you usually do in autumn?
I don’t like this time of year. But in all disadvantages you can find some advantages and in autumn I have more time for me. I can go to the gym more, and I can work more on my photography, as there is full hard drive of unsorted shoots. The only problem is that you can get easily sick in autumn. I take good care by taking extra vitamins.
Your ideal autumn date would be….?
In autumn I start having more time for the both of us. Finally we can enjoy watching movies and drinking hot herbal tea with chocolates on the side. Otherwise we have a very beautiful autumn here in the city, where everybody visits in autumn. It’s amazing to have a walk there in the parks and woods, passing through the red leaves, or being on the mountain and watching down to the red forests and visiting the remains of cultures and old castles.
The most romantic memory you share with your BF is…
It was a very romantic night when we shared a walk in this old town in Tallinn after a Madonna concert; we reached this panoramic point from where you can see the city and the sea. We realized that we are alone there, and it was 4 o’clock in the morning of a summer night well not until sunrise… we then shared a special kiss, and few more things! However, few days later, we saw the exact same spot on being featured on TV; we were smiling, remembering the memory.
What’s the romantic gestures you surprise him with?
Well, I like to surprise him with a dinner in candle light, hot bath and fruits… romantic music… ending very beautifully.

You’ve been single at some point, right? What did you do then?
I am very happy with my sweet guy and we have been together already for more than 4 years now, I even forgot what it feels to be single. We spend a lot of time apart, but knowing that regardless the thousand miles of distance he is waiting for me, loving me and waiting for my call, gives the energy I need to stay strong. However, I am very afraid to be alone.
For me, the earlier you’re in love, the easier it is. The younger you realize that you don’t want to be single anymore, the easier it gets to find the right one. With the years passing by, people grow to be different, and they ought for different needs, so at some point you might find yourself settling with the wrong one, giving you time to have a chance to find the suitable guy. And easier to start while young. Yet relationships are all about compromises, that’s a gold-figure found.

'I think I have enough drama, but I also need a lot! I don’t like when my life becomes a routine. I hate it when I know what tomorrow is planned to be…'
Do you believe that there’s a one for everyone? Can the lightning strikes twice?
Love is something that the soul needs. I think that you can be in love with only one person, but what if the love stops at a certain point, do we stop? It makes sense to fall in love with another. The idea of moving on…
Do you like Drama? What’s good and bad about drama?
I think it is good. At least for me! It gives you new emotions which daily life and daily routine doesn’t offer! I mean some positive dramatic situations could be called adventures… breathtaking adventures-that’s cool! I am always looking for adventures in my life. But I don’t think I am the crazed-up boy; I always stay on the safe side.
Do you balance to have the fair share of it in your life?
I think I have enough, but I also need a lot! I don’t like when my life becomes a routine. I hate it when I know what tomorrow is going to be, planned I mean. By then, I try to cause… some drama!
Your participating in the Mister 2009 competition. How is that going?
This is a big challenge for me. The first selection was done by receiving email applications. I got an email with confirmation that I have passed when I was in Barcelona. Same time I got this approval, I started to work with a good agency in Barcelona. So it was difficult to choose between the contest and keeping the agency. After discussions with my boyfriend, we decided that I need to take this opportunity and to take part in the contest even if I don’t feel very interested about it. My plane arrived just few hours before the contest started, next thing you know I was on stage, passing again! So, now we are 8 guys and we are working with different specialists individually. This includes psychology, yoga, meditation, body workouts and many more of fashion and beauty care. I like those classes very much, but the most important is that I made new friends. This completion can be useful for me in the future as a model or a photographer. However the next illumination will be done in about mid-December, so keep your fingers crossed for me.

You attended the International Gay Film Festival in Barcelona, Tell us a little about it?
It was very interesting for me as I’ve never been to such festivals. But Barcelona is such a gay friendly city, it’s a very open minded city, some of my friends had no idea. I attended a lot of movies, some I liked really very much. The films are divided in Full Length, Documentary and Short Films.
There were also some documentaries about Turkey, Israel, Palestine and some other countries. Being in Barcelona where being gay is tolerated and accepted, and watching those films, you understand that the world has many and very different cultures. Here you can walk in the streets hand in hand with your lover and kiss your guy, but there’s a lot of gay people who cannot experience that, or allow themselves to accept that they are gay and they live with that problem through their whole life. Never having what could make them happy. It hurts me a lot!

Due to your wide connections, do you have any model friends in the Middle East?
Unfortunately, not much, I know only few. I’m friends with Khalid though. But it’s a thing I need to work on, make more friends in the Middle East. A new adventure for me.
As a model, you must deal with rejection all the time, the auditions, try outs and callings… what did you gain from that?
The thing is, I learned to not take modeling very seriously unless you become very successful. Always look for something more reliable. For me modeling and photography are just hobbies, an opportunity to discover other countries and cultures, make friends from all over the world and learn new languages. And I enjoy it! Rejections… our life is full of rejections, it’s makes you stronger for tougher situations. I don’t care about it at all if it happens, knowing I can be happy also without that!
your secret power remains where? What’s your secret gun?
I think it remains in my willpower. Thanks to my mother for that!
I believe that there is some part of “dynasty” in people, you can achieve a lot by yourself, when you start be creating a better version of yourself, everything around you change. Yet, nothing comes easy.
