THE PROPER WAY
TO BREAK-UP!
So the spark had gone, and you don't feel connected anymore to your guy, and it happens in best cases, but the hard job is on the loose now, the worst thing you going to do to your mate, the word that gets you lazy to talk, yes boys, "the break-up". The thing is, a lot of us don't know how to do it, and when we do, sometimes we end up hurting our mates and ending feeling guilty about it for a long time. Therefore, we here have a systematic monologue on the proper way to break-up with your mate without hurting him.
Step 1: Try not rushing things.
Before considering "the break-up", you should run your options of solutions, if you are willing to save things and you do not want a break-up that fast. You need to talk with your lover before you make any decision. If things can be saved by talking, then there you go, talk things out, share how you feel about things, what has been bothering you, and if there is something annoying you, or something he might did, you need to tell him the way you felt. In addition, if there's another way you think it will help prove things up, why not giving it a shot. Sometimes you consider a break-up too fast even though you like or even love your mate. Don't rush things, and don't forget, "there's no normal, healthy relationship without having a bumpy ride once in a while."
Step 2: Think deep.
Considering a break-up happens for allot of different reasons, it's either you like somebody else, or the connection between you two went dead, or things got complicated for some reason, you should figure things out with yourself, and ask yourself "is this what I want?", when you realize that things between you two is not meshing, then it's probably over by now, but you haven't made the statement yet. It seems you need to know what you need right now, and defiantly do not want to lead your mate on, so the fastest the better, you don't want to end up hurting him, and you don't want a bad record as "the bad mate who bla bla bla…!". You just need to be honest with yourself toward this, and you defiantly want to be honest to him too.
Step 3: Talking things out.
Now that you made-up your mind about what you want you need to talk it through with your mate, tell him what you feel, tell him what you need, and tell him why, you need to share the reason with him so that both of you are on the same page. "Never lie" or go into indirect ways, it will make things complicated, and in this stage you do not need that as a side dish now do you?! Tell him what he means to you, and that you both tried the best you could to make things work, but it is not meant to be, and he deserves all the best. Try to avoid breaking-up on birthdays, 3 weeks before and 2 weeks after, never do that, you hurt him bad this way, try spending happy time with him, with hold everything till the right moments, who knows, you may change your mind!
Step 4: The last Dinner.
Now that you settled things, and made everything clear, invite your mate to one last dinner, to a beautiful restaurant, maybe the one you had your first date with him at, it'll be a nice touch, remember it's a very delicate situation, so it could be awkward for both you, but you can kill that with some laughs like telling him what you'll always feel about him, and how great he is, mention funny moments happened with you two, and in an a moment of silence after the laughs, tell him how beautiful he looks. Make him comfortable as much as you can. After the dinner is over, walk him to his house or to a place, and have your last kiss ever, it will be full of passion and goodbye tension, it will be the perfect touch for the perfect ending.
